Per my usual M.O., I was sewing Mina and Molly’s costume up to the last minute, as they all stood around asking if I was finished yet.
Mina as Princess Lea; Molly as Princess Molly; Hannah [...]

No lame excuses here. Been busy, haven’t blogged. To the few readers I have, I’m sorry!
Sooo, let’s get to it…
Molly knits! Woohoo! Three down, three to go!
I knit a few washclothes.

First up, Mina’s (my 8 year old) 1st finished sock:
We like to sit and knit together. I helped her here and there, mostly on the heel and toe, and some reminders on how to decrease. She’ll need even less help with the other sock, except she has SSS (second sock syndrome). She wants to knit [...]

and this book:
I actually already have this book with the newer cover:
but the older one reminds me of my mom, since that’s the one she had. I think my father gave her book away when she past away. She died almost 14 years ago of [...]

Oh Spring, where art thou?
Wake up sleepy head;
I long for green grass, blooming flowers, budding trees,
the earthy smell of a freshly planted garden.
My children long to spend hours in the warmth of your sunshine,
breathing in the fresh air, playing tag and hide and seek,
making new nature discoveries, observing the [...]
