FO by Mina

Mina (my 8.5 year old daughter) knit a doll size lace stole:

a close up:

Color is most accurate in the first picture (with the stole on the Doll).

Pattern: Pair of Leaves with Garter Border
Yarn: Aran BFL from Casa Java Knits
Needles: Size 10.5 Susan Bates Circulars

She told me she wants to sell it! And that she wants to knit more doll handknits to sell. Because she wants to save up her money. To buy things like: a digital camera and a mp3 player. That’s my girl!

So, I’ll be listing it in my shop for her in the near future.

    Mina says, “Thank you!”
I showed her how to knit from a chart and it made it easier for her.

:D I find knitting from a chart (for lace and cable patterns) to be much easier than following a pattern line by line. I’ll post a pattern for Mina’s Pair of Leaves Scarf in pdf form, with the chart, later tonight or tomorrow for anyone who’s interested!
