Mother/Daughter Bonding…

First up, Mina’s (my 8 year old) 1st finished sock:

Mina's 1st Sock

We like to sit and knit together. I helped her here and there, mostly on the heel and toe, and some reminders on how to decrease. She’ll need even less help with the other sock, except she has SSS (second sock syndrome). She wants to knit a scarf. I told her she can cast on for both!

Next up, Sarah. Sarah is my 17 year old (who has wanted to get her nose pierced since she was about 8 years old). So on Saturday we had our noses pierced.

Sarah and Me

And a shot of just me:

Just Me!

Thank you! I love having both girls and boys….even though you love them all the same, they are different relationships.

Thanks for the comment! We had a much better day yesterday, and I only have two lace charts to go on the Swallowtail! Yay!

    You both look beautiful! :-)

I had my nose pierced few years back. It was fun to play with all those cute little nose jewelry! Enjoy! :-)

I too like your demure little diamond stud. My nose would not look so lovely though, highlighted thusly. ;^)

Your baby soaker/shorts pattern is great! Would you share it?

Thanks! Not sure if I’ll be writing up a shorts pattern, there’s already some great ones available (both free and for sale)!
